If you are aware of any potential refugees from other towns whom we can interview in Jordan, please contact Mr. Rakan Mahmoud at +962-79-661-5275 with your information. Currently, we are pressed hard to interview people from towns that we have not yet covered, your help is CRITICAL since time is our main enemy.
Help preserving our history and culture for future generations. To make it easier on you, we have authored a training manual and a list of questions. We suggest studying these two documents carefully, then use any available technology (such as video camera, digital recorder, or even regular tap recorder) to retain Nakba Oral History as much as you can. Once done, we will be more than happy to post your work at the site after crediting you completely for your work.
We are in need of people who have the time and patience to carefully listen to what is spoken in the interviews, and to rephrase it to traditional Arabic (Fus-haa). Then the manuscript has to be typed in Arabic text, which later should be translated to English. It should be noted that you will be COMPLETELY credited and your work shall be published next to each transcribed interview.

نرجوا من الله الرحمة لك يا سيدي ابو مصلح ،بكينا يوم وفاتك مثلما كنت تبكي عندما تذكر لنا رفاقك ،احببنا كثيرا ونفتقدك كثيرا ،كنت دائما مخلصا للمالحة وفلسطين ومحبا لأهلك وربعك ، كنت مبادرا و مبدعا رغم تقصيرنا ،ولكنك حقا غرست فينا ما أردت ان نحفظه ونصونه وهو العهد والتاريخ وأيضا المستقبل ،رحلت يا سيدي ولكننا من بعدك سائرون ،لن أنساك يا جدي العزيز

بإسم طاقم فلسطين في الذاكرة في الأردن وفي أمريكا، أود من خلال هذه الصفحة تعزية أهل المالحة وعائلة الحلو لفقدانهم أحد وجهائهم أبو مصلح: رحمكك الله.
عندما تمت أول مقابلة مع الفقيد في عام 2003 ورؤيتها من خلال الفلم الموجود في هذه الصفحة ومشاهدة مخطط القرية المرسوم على إحدى جدران بيت الفقيد، قمت بمكالمة الأخ أبو طارق (عبد المجيد الدنديس) ليقوم بتوثيق المزيد من الحج أبو مصلح خاصة بما يخص عملية الرجوع العفوي للمالحة عام 1950 أو 1951.
يا أخوان، أخص بالذكر هذه المقابة لأثرها الكبير علي وعلى زوار الموقع. هذا الأنسان من خلال هذه الصفحة أبو مصلح لم يموت والله أني أذكر هذه المقابل بكل دقة
